The Circlarity Edit: Juggling Joy - Parties, Parenthood and Peace of Mind

Hi friends,

June has been a big one. Between uni wrap-ups, party planning and precious moments with my little one, the month flew by in a blur of colour, cuddles and creativity. In this edition of The Circlarity Edit, I’m sharing a behind-the-scenes peek at Izabella’s sixth birthday party, celebrating the end of the University semester, and reflecting on the gentle reminder that rest is just as important as progress.

Wrapping Up the Semester

Another uni semester is complete, and I can finally exhale. It hasn’t been easy juggling assignments, parenting and business planning, but each subject passed brings me one step closer to my goals. Studying sustainability and design while raising Izabella and building Circlarity means there’s never a dull moment. But even in the overwhelm, there’s deep fulfilment in knowing I’m working toward something that aligns with my values.

Izabella Turns 6 – Party Fun at the Road Safety Centre

This year, we celebrated Izabella’s birthday at the Launceston Road Safety Centre, and it was pure joy. The kids arrived with their bikes and scooters and spent hours riding through the mini road network. There was laughter, little bell rings, training wheels wobbling and big, proud smiles. They played freely, laughed with their mates and most of all, had the absolute best time.

It was also a beautiful reminder of how collaboration can elevate any event. I feel so grateful to have worked with some wonderful Tassie businesses to bring this party to life:

Cookies by Marcela – for her beautiful themed treats

Tamar Valley Flower Patch – for adding magic to the day

Nan’s Cotton Candy – for spinning joy into every sweet cloud

Fairy Tales and Pirate Sails – for the magical balloon artistry

These local legends brought their heart and creativity to the celebration, making Izabella’s day truly special.

Claire Answers: “How Do You Do It All?”

Honestly? I don’t. And I’ve learned that’s perfectly okay.

Some days are full of energy and ticking boxes. Others are quiet, slower, and sometimes just about keeping things afloat. What I’ve come to realise is that it’s okay to rest. It’s okay to stop and simply be.

Lately, I’ve been making more space to just exist outside the roles I hold. A walk, a moment to breathe, a journal entry or ten minutes of stillness in the sunshine. These small pauses matter. They remind me that I’m not just a mum, a student or a business owner. I’m me. And that version of me deserves attention, too.

So if you’re in a season of juggling, or simply doing your best, know this – it’s okay to take time for yourself. Rest isn’t a weakness. It’s a necessary part of showing up as the version of you that you want to be.

Have a question for the next edition of The Circlarity Edit? I’d love to hear from you. Whether it’s about sustainable celebrations, parenthood, running a purpose-driven business or just how to make space for yourself in the midst of it all, I’m here to share what I’ve learned (and am still learning).

With love and confetti,

Claire x
